Job Summary
As a Wire Harness Technician, you will build, install, and troubleshoot low- and high-voltage wiring systems that power tomorrow’s vehicles. You’ll work from detailed schematics and cut sheets, ensure every connection meets stringent quality and safety requirements, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues quickly. This hands-on position is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on varied projects and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble & Install Harnesses
- Build wiring looms from scratch or adapt donor components using prints, schematics, and harness boards.
- Route, secure, and integrate harnesses into vehicles, test cells, or standalone rigs.

- Quality & Safety
- Crimp, solder, torque, and heat-shrink to IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent standards.
- Perform continuity, resistance, and hipot tests; document and remedy any non-conformities.

- Troubleshooting & Innovation
- Diagnose wiring faults with multimeters and CAN tools; propose robust corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineers and senior techs to improve designs and build methods.

Qualifications & Skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- IPC/WHMA-A-620, LV/HV safety, or other wiring certifications.
- Exposure to engine-test environments or OEM/Tier-1 manufacturing plants.
