We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dynamometer Technician to join our high-performance team on 2nd shift in Dearborn, Michigan.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate engine and chassis dynamometers for testing and validation.
Install test units including mechanical, electrical, and fluid connections.
Execute and monitor test procedures, capturing accurate and high-quality data.
Troubleshoot test equipment, software, and data acquisition systems as needed.
Conduct preventative maintenance on dyno systems and related equipment.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth operation and precise test conditions.
Document all tests, setups, part changes, and maintenance activities.
🎓 Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Technical Degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience in engine testing, automotive diagnostics, or mechanical systems.
Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and basic electrical systems.
Hands-on experience with dyno equipment, sensors, or emissions tools is a plus.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols.
Welding or fabrication experience is a bonus.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
