MARTIN Technologies is hiring Automotive Wire Harness Techs at our Novi location. We offer a dynamic environment that supports opportunities for team members to work on a variety of unique projects. We build prototype and production harnesses for the newest automotive technology.

We are accepting applications for candidates with all levels of wiring experience-- entry level technicians, mid-level technicians, senior technicians, and engineers.

- Plywood Buck
- Wiring Updates & Rework on Vehicles
- Wire Harness Test / Validation Bench
- Wiring Harness Design
- ICE to EV Vehicle Conversions
- Low Voltage
- High Voltage
- Wiring on Proof of Concept Projects
- Other
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform work as outlined in project plan with efficiency and accuracy
- Project layout – typically on processing tables /“bread boards”
- Work from print and cut sheet instructions
- Proper assembly using wiring hand tools
- Quality validation including continuity and test fixture
- Collaborate with team on root cause analysis as needed
- Follow workflow and process per provided instruction
- Record work activity per process documents
- Maintain clean, organized workspace
- Meet delivery timing for assignments
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Maintain customer and program confidentiality requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience in wire harness assembly
- Build from scratch
- Build from donor
- Proficient in correct soldering technique
- Knowledge of appropriate tool usage
- Proficiency in proper technique relative to various components (terminal crimping, connector locks, seals, etc.)
- Proficient in accurate measurement
- Knowledge of proper taping technique
- Proficient in building from prints and cutsheets
- Proficient in use of multimeter for continuity testing
- Ability to troubleshoot build issues
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
- Willingness to ask questions and seek assistance as needed
- Focus on and commitment to 100% quality
- Reliable – must report and be engage as scheduled
- Great attitude toward work and learning
